Led backend and DevOps for a polyglot microservices commerce platform - built a Spring Boot commerce service (auth, RBAC, catalog, orders) and a high-throughput Go telemetry service for event-driven long-polling.
Implemented resilient, event-driven workflows using Redis Streams and gRPC, secure media handling with S3 presigned URLs, JWT-based RBAC with token rotation, and async email notifications with exponential backoff.
Productionized the platform with Docker and GitHub Actions CI/CD, deployed to AWS EC2 behind Nginx API gateway with rate limiting - the commerce service supports ~1500-2000 concurrent users (avg response 500-900 ms non-cached, <400 ms cached) and the telemetry service handles ~10,000 concurrent pollers (avg response <300 ms).
